This class is for those with little or no floristry experience who would like to explore a possible career change.  Creating the floral adornments for the bridal party is one of the most important parts of wedding floristry and this course is the perfect introduction. 

Not only will you master the practical skills necessary for creating bouquets and intricate buttonholes and headdresses,  the class covers floristry fundaments such as Colour theories and Principals and Elements of Design.  This mix of practical skills with design knowledge will enable you to design and create your own unique work going forward.

9.00 – 4.00 pm 

The class will cover:

Handtied bouquets - the basis of so many floristry designs. Learning the spiralling technique in this class is a fundamental skill that is not only used for bridal bouquets but can be used to create vase arrangements and gift bouquets.

Wiring techniques - this core floristry skill is vital when creating beautiful yet robust designs



Flower crowns and headdresses


Beverley will demonstrate each design after which you will make each design to take home.

We will also introduce the Principles and Elements of Design and colour harmonies so that you will be confident in designing your own creations.

Duration – 7 hours – Price - £250.00

This workshop includes refreshments and a light lunch

All flowers and sundries will be included.
